The BJP today alleged that administrative anarchy is prevailing in Uttar Pradesh and the Samajwadi Party regime, which is sitting on a communal base, is busy blaming others to save its face.

"In a bid to hide his failures, the Chief Minister is blaming others. There is administrative anarchy prevailing under this government," BJP chief spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.

He said this government is sitting on a communal base, and all decisions are taken on the basis of that.

Referring to CM Akhilesh Yadav's interview published in a weekly magazine, Pathak said the Chief Minister himself had admitted that he was about to suspend two DMs and a Chief Development Officer for irregularities in MNREGA projects.

"Then why was the administrative decision put on hold, whereas woman IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal is being harassed?" he questioned, and said the decision to suspend Nagpal was taken under pressure of mining mafias.

Pathak said Akhilesh should take steps to reinstate the honest IAS officer.

"It will be better if he makes serious efforts to take quick action, instead of blaming others," Pathak said.

He said the Chief Minister, who has failed on the law and order front, is now raising questions over role of opposition parties.
