Shankar Lal(57), posted as ADO at Majhka block in the district died of heart attack when he was distributing meal to the visitors after the programme of the chief minister, Chief Development Officer R K Singh said.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, he said.
Singh said that Lal was a heart patient and had a bypass surgery earlier.
According to sources, Lal was under pressure on account of the piling work before the chief minister's programme.
