The Assam Government today decided to grant an advanced increment to the employees of District and Sub-Division administration from January 1, 2016.
Chairing a meeting with a 14-member delegation of Sadou Asom Zila Prasashan Karmachari Santha at his office at Assam Secretariat, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, said the Government has agreed on the demand of the Santha to grant an advanced increment considering their work load and emergent nature of duties.
He further said the Government has been giving final touches to cashless health scheme for State Government employees.
Chief Secretary V K Pipersenia, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister M G V K Bhanu, advisor of the Karmachari Santha Nripen Roy, its president Nirmal Kalita and other officials were also present at the meeting.
