BJP leader B C Khanduri who skipped the party's national executive in Goa has hailed Narendra Modi's appointment as the party's campaign committee chief even as he said L K Advani's eligibility as a Prime Ministerial candidate cannot be doubted.
"At a time when UPA has crossed all limits of corruption, BJP has done the right thing by making Modi the campaign panel head as he has never faced charges of corruption and is known for his administrative efficiency," Khanduri told reporters here yesterday.
The party will benefit from this decision in 2014 Lok Sabha polls, he said.

"No one can deny Advani's contribution to building the party nor can anyone raise questions over his eligibility for the post of Prime Minister. Even today he is totally fit to be at the helm," Khanduri said.
When asked why he did not attend the party's national executive in Goa, Khanduri said he had planned to go there but ill health forced him to cancel his programme.
