Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today attacked the present BJP leadership for allegedly ignoring party veteran L K Advani, who he said, had been sent to "old age home".

"Advaniji is enjoying good health, but still he has been sent to old age home by making a member of 'Marg Darshak Mandal' which also has another BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi," Kumar said in his speech on confidence motion in Bihar Assembly.

Advaniji was credited to make BJP which was a party of two MPs to a ruling party, but the present leadership had dumped him, he said.

"BJP at one time used to regale in the slogan 'BJP ke teen darohar, Atal, Advani aur Murli Manohar' but the ultra ego of the present BJP leadership has took the party on to a different direction," Kumar who drove his party JD(U) to severe ties with BJP in June 2013 over elevation of Narendra Modi said.

On BJP attack on him in return on senior JD(U) leader George Fernandes, Kumar said "he shares condition similar to BJP patriach Atal Bihari Vajpayee."

"George saheb is ill and his condition is like that of Atal Bihari Vajpayee," he said.
