The term of Advisor Irrigation Pritam Singh Kumedan, had expired on June 22, 2012.
The tenure was extended by two years by state Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today.
Kumedan had been appointed as Advisor Irrigation to the Punjab Government on June 23, 2010, for his expert advice on the issues related to river waters from time-to-time.
