Advocates continue boycott of proceedings

Continuing their protest, Advocates in the Madras High Court today boycotted proceedings opposing the list of 12 names recommended by the collegium of the Madras High Court for appointment as Additional Judges.

The Madras High Court Advocates Association today resolved to boycott the Courts and Tribunals tomorrow also and to convene the General Body again at 10 am to discuss the further course of action.

Meanwhile, a team of MHAA Executive Committee members including its President R C Paul Kanagaraj and TNAA President S Prabhakaran, met Union Law Minister Kabil Sibal at New Delhi in connection with the issue.
