A group of 39 persons from Kenya, Liberia and Malawi participated in the US-India-Africa triangular international training program on "New dimensions in Agricultural extension management" offered by the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad.
The international training is proposed to bring about trilateral cooperation in adapting technological advances and innovative solutions to address food security challenges in Africa, a Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) release said today.
As part of the 60-day visit to India, an exposure visit to TNAU was organised on August 31, to learn about the innovative extension approaches of TNAU.

The team visited Kisan Call Centre, Community Radio Station and Educational Media Centre to acquire knowledge on the functions and impact of mass media in Agriculture.
The delegates also discussed about the aspects of latest developments in millets and pulses promotion in Tamil Nadu, the release said.
