After landmark Test, Ashwin visits Pench National Park

After becoming the fastest bowler to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets, Indian spin wizard R Ashwin celebrated his achievement and the team's victory over Sri Lanka at the Pench National Park here.

On Monday, Ashwin became the fastest bowler to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets in his 54th match, breaking Dennis Lillee's record, during India's convincing win over Sri Lanka in the second Test in Nagpur.

"Ashwin, along with all rounder Vijay Shankar and two others came here on a personal visit and enjoyed jungle safari on Tuesday. They stayed in a local resort and watched tigers' movement in Alikatta area," Assistant Conservator of Forest Ashish Bansod said.
 

Tourists who happened to be there made a beeline to click selfies with Ashwin.

He left the Park on the same evening.
