After rains, temperatures hover close to normal in Pb, Har

The maximum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana today hovered close to normal level as rains lashed over both the states this weekend.

According to MeT office, Chandigarh recorded a high of 35.2 degrees Celsius.

In Punjab, Amritsar and Ludhiana recorded identical below normal maximums of 33.2 degrees C each while Patiala registered a high of 34.6 degrees C, it said.

Ambala in Haryana recorded a maximum temperature of 34.2 degrees C while Hisar's high settled at 35 degrees C.

Bhiwani and Karnal recorded below normal maximums of 33.4 degrees C and 33 degrees C, respectively.

Narnaul's maximum settled at 34 degrees C, MeT office said.
