Rains in the afternoon brought temperatures down in the state capital today with South West parts of Bihar receiving light to moderate rainfall, the Met office said.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in western parts of the state, it said.
Among the four major cities, Patna received 23.2 mm of rainfall, while Gaya received 21 mm rainfall, the Met office said.

The afternoon rainfall in the state capital decreased the maximum temperature by few notches while it witnessed an increase in the humidity level.
Bhagalpur recorded highest maximum temperature of the state at 33 deg C, followed by 32.9 deg C in Patna, 32.7 deg C in Purnea and 32.5 deg C in Gaya, the MeT office said.
Humidity level was highest in Gaya and Bhagalpur, recorded at 92 per cent each in the morning.
The Met office has forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder or dust storm in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur in the next 24 hours, while Purnea may witness a generally cloudy sky with with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
