Former national rugby captain Aga Hussain has been elected the president of Asia Rugby at its AGM in Hong Kong on November 19.
He has thus become the first Indian to occupy the post, said a media release today.
Hussain, a founding member of Indian Rugby Football Union (now renamed Rugby India) who played the game for 26 years at club, national and international level, has over four decades of involvement with rugby, including five years as member of the Asia Rugby EXCO and two years as its Vice President.
