Secretary of the Press Club, Sujit Chakraborty in a press statement said that T Nanao Singh, a correspondent of a Guwahati based private TV channel was killed in police firing at Imphal when he was discharging his professional duties.
The club demanded punishment of the erring police officials and adequate compensation to the family of the deceased.
