Agitate against government excise policy, minister urges women

Former AP minister D L Ravindra Reddy urged women today, to agitate against the state government's excise policy of allowing shop owners to open permit rooms in their premises.

He also assured women that he would extend all support to their agitation, as he criticised the government heavily.

Talking to reporters at Mydukur in Kadapa district, he alleged that the government is extremely fond of money but least bothered about people's welfare.
