Three days after the bus service between Agra and Gwalior was suspended due to a rise in the water level of the Chambal river, the Uttar Pradesh Roadways resumed it today.
"All eight buses on the Agra-Gwalior route resumed service today after the water of the river Chambal receded " said Raghavendra Singh, Assistant Regional Manager, UP Roadways.
The bus service was shut down on Sunday as a precautionary measure as the traffic movement on Dholpur bridge over the Chambal had become dangerous, he added.
