Noted agriculture economist and Niti Ayog member Prof Ramesh Chandra would deliver the convocation address in the sixth convocation of UP Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU), here on November 17.
"Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik would preside the function and Chandra will deliver the convocation address at the university," its Vice Chancellor K M L Pathak said here.
State Minister for Animal Husbandry Ziyauddeen Rizvi would be special guest in the convocation. The university would honour different people on the occasion, he informed.

"Chandra would be conferred an Honorary D.Sc degree while 10 students would be awarded their Ph.D degree, 23 students M.VSc and 40 students B.VSc degree," he said.
The Vice Chancellor's Medal would be awarded to topper of the B.VSc course, Pathak said.
Meanwhile, the 'Swacchata Pakhawara' (cleanliness fortnight) that began on November 1 at the university concluded today.
