"Next year is election year. We have to plan and do it properly, we have to take the achievements of our previous regimes to the people and list the travails of the people in the AIADMK regime," Karunanidhi reminded cadres and exhorted them to do poll related work properly.
To strengthen cohesion among party rank and file, he asked them to "have a firm mind that it is the party which will be the candidate in all constituencies rather than considering who will be the candidate in which seat."
He also gave some indications about the desirable aspects for a prospective party candidate for elections.
"To take them (AIADMK) on, our candidate should have will power and the strength of support," he said.
