An Air India plane, with over 100 passengers and crew onboard, from Vijayawada today made an emergency landing at the IGI airport here due to a technical glitch in the aircraft.
The aircraft, an Airbus A-319, landed safely and all passengers were safe, official sources said.
Full emergency was declared about 11:15 AM for Air India flight AI-460 coming here from Vijaywada after the pilot informed Delhi Air Traffic Control about some issues on the plane's engine, they said.

Confirming the incident, an Air India spokesperson said the emergency landing was sought for its Vijaywada-Delhi flight, which had 101 passengers onboard, after some technical glitch was reported in one of the Airbus A-319 aircraft.
