The AICC has announced a five-phase organisational election programme for Himachal Congress starting from May 15 and concluding in July end.
In the first phase, membership forms would be submitted with Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) by May 15 and the first list of names of eligible candidates along with Congress members would be issued on May 25.
"Party workers can file their objections with the District Scrutiny Committee till June 5 which would decide the objections by June 8. Complaint against the decisions of District Scrutiny Committee can then be filed with the State Election Committee till June 12," HPCC chief spokesperson Naresh Chauhan said.

Chauhan said the State Election Committee would then redress the objections by June 15 and if any party workers are not satisfied with the decision, he can file his complaint with Central Election Committee which would dispose off all the objections by June 25.
The District Congress Committee would issue the final list of Congress members by July 5 and the elections of booth and block-level officers would be held from July 10-15.
"In second phase, the elections for BCC president, vice president, treasurer and for electing six DCC representatives and one PCC member would be held from July 16-20," he said.
Elections for District Congress Committees would be held in the third phase from July 20 to 25, followed by elections for the post of president, vice- president, treasurer, other office bearers of PCC from July 26 to 31.
Elections for Congress Working Committee would be held in the fifth and final phase," he added.
