AIIMS Patna will host a two-day international seminar on minimal invasive surgery from August 29 in which more than 300 renowned doctors will take part, its Director G K Singh said today.
Director of all seven AIIMS in the country have been invited for the August 29-30 event, Singh told reporters.
Prominent Pune based doctor Shailesh Putumkar and Chennai based J S Rajkumar would perform gastrointestinal surgery and intestinal bypass surgery for the participants, he said.

Chandigarh based Atul Prashar would demonstrate plastic surgery while Lucknow based S K Kureel would perform surgery to educate on children infested with kidney problems since birth.
AIIMS Jodhpur director Sanjeev Mishra would present a paper on breast cancer, Singh added.
The AIIMS Patna Director said that noted city based doctor Narendra Prasad awarded with Padam Shree would be honoured during the two-day event for his contribution in the field of surgery.
Another attraction during the event would be establishment of Simulation Laboratory at AIIMS Patna in which emerging surgeons would learn invasive surgery of computerised mannequin, Singh said.
