Former union minister V Narayanasamy today accused the AINRC government of diverting funds earmarked for certain schemes in the budget to implementing 'poll centric freebies'.
Speaking at a demonstration organised here by youth wing of Congress here condemning the 'chaotic job policy' of the union territory government, he alleged Chief Minister N Rangasamy was keen about offering jobs to the candidates from his constituency (Kadirkamam) through backdoor appointments while hundreds of job seekers in other segments were ignored.
Narayanasamy said the Employment Exchange was only a show piece in Puducherry with no intimations of placement opportunities for the youth.
Narayanasamy said that the Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre was also failing the people as all promises of transparent administration were only on paper.
