Vijayawada-headquartered regional airline Air Costa today offered a flat discount of Rs 999 to customers across its flights for a limited period in winter months.
The flat discount offer of Rs 999 is applicable for economy and economy plus tickets on all flights across the airline's network, Air Costa said in a release.
Incidentally, Air Costa rolled out the discounted tickets a day after the air passenger body APAI sought a ban by the aviation regulator DGCA on such schemes, terming them as "non-existent."

The discounted fares are not applicable on bookings made for infants and groups.
"It is a constant endeavour to come up with exciting offers which give value to our guests. Our winter special offer will help our guests to plan and book their tickets in advance for the upcoming holiday season," Air Costa Managing Director L V S Rajasekhar said in the release.
Domestic carriers, led by cash-strapped SpiceJet, have been rolling out one after another limited period "special sale" offers since January this year to woo passengers.
However, Air Passengers Association of India (APAI) alleges that most of the time airline websites show these low fares as "sold out."
These offers are mostly "non-existent," APAI has said and taken up the issue with DGCA.
