Two employees of a baggage handling company in the airport were today arrested for allegedly stealing a Rs four lakh worth camera from a passenger, who arrived here from Malaysia.
After a flight from Malaysia landed here around 12 pm, CISF personnel observed loading man Vallinayagam and Supervisor M Vijay of a private baggage handling company opening a bag of a passenger and taking away a camera worth Rs four lakh, police said.
However, the passenger did not notice the theft.
CISF personnel filed a complaint with the police with the video clipping, which led to the duo's arrest, police added.
