Telecom operator Bharti Airtel Tuesday said shares of its subsidiary Airtel Africa have been listed and admitted for trading on Nigerian Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange (Premium Segment).
"In furtherance to our previous intimations in this regard, we wish to inform that Airtel Africa Plc...has announced today, that its shares have been listed and admitted for trading on the London Stock Exchange (premium segment) and Nigerian Stock Exchange," Bharti Airtel informed in a regulatory filing.
Last week, the Nigerian Stock Exchange had postponed the listing of Airtel Africa shares, originally scheduled for July 5, to ensure that the telco meets its listing requirements.
