Airtel Digital TV partners Shemaroo to launch 'SadabaharHitz'

Airtel Digital TV, the DTH arm of Bharti Airtel and entertainment content house Shemaroo Entertainment have partnered to launch a collection of classic Bollywood movies and music 'SadabaharHitz'.

The ad-free service will be available on Airtel Digital TV for Rs 39 per month.

"The service is targeted to bring to the audience, quality films and soulful songs that will not only be appealing to mid and older generation but also will give youth an opportunity to reconnect with the era," Shemaroo Entertainment Director Hiren Gada said.

Airtel Digital TV Chief Marketing Officer S Sriram said, "we believe that this platform is a worthy addition to our existing set of services."

Surana Telecom and Power accepts resignation of its CFO * Surana Telecom and Power Ltd today said that its board has approved the resignation of Archit Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of the company w.E.F. May 24.

"Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on May 24, 2016, approved the resignation of Mr. Archit Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of the company w.E.F. May 24, 2016," Surana Telecom And Power Ltd said in a BSE filing.

Biz2Credit to provide loans up to USD 5 mn * US based Biz2Credit, an online marketplace for consumer and SME loans, today said it will provide finances of up to USD 5 million to thousands of small and mid-sized companies in India.

"India has huge market of around 29 million small businesses and SMEs contribute 45 per cent to the country's industrial output and to 40 per cent of the total exports," Biz2Credit President and Co-Founder Ramit Arora said in a statement.

"We will help Indian entrepreneurs to quickly secure the funding they need to grow their businesses. Financing on Biz2Credit's platform ranges from USD 5,000 to USD 5 million and can be coordinated in as little as 24 hours for working capital, commercial real estate and other uses," Arora added.

RML AgTech raises $4 million from IvyCap Ventures

Mumbai: RML AgTech, a technology company providing 'Agri Decision Support Solution' on mobile phones to farmers, has raised USD 4 million from IvyCap Ventures, a private equity firm.

The funds will be utilised to strengthen RML AgTech's IT backbone and to bring in new products and features on its current offerings. The funds were raised in multiple tranches from IvyCap Ventures in 2016.

Crowdfunding Platform Wishberry raises funds from LetsVenture

Wishberry, a crowdfunding platform for creative artists, today announced an angel round for an undisclosed amount from a clutch of investors on LetsVenture, including Sharad Sharma (iSPIRT) Rajan Anandan (Google), Amit Ranjan (SlideShare), Alok Mittal (IAN), Venkat S Raju (Kyron Global) and others.

"We have set-out on a mission to help showcase the enormous yet unexplored potential of Indian creativity on a global scale.
