Over 20,000 runners participated in four events organised here as part of the seventh edition of the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon.
Over 1,500 runners participated in the Full Marathon category which was flagged off by Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy today and Indrajeet Yadav won the men's event while Jyothi Gawate won the women's event, a media release issued here said.
Similarly, over 5,000 runners took part in the Half Marathon that was flagged off by GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy. In this category Samroo Yadav won the men's event while Amandeep Kaur won the women's event.

In the 10K Run which was flagged off by Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Sandeep Shandilya, over 6,500 runners participated. It was won by Synsharlan G Wahlang and Vadde Navya under the men's and women's event, respectively.
The winners received their prizes from Telangana's IT Minister K T Rama Rao and Bharti Airtel (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) CEO Venkatesh Vijayraghavan, the release said,
Over 7,000 runners had participated in 5K Fun Run organised yesterday, it added.
