Airtel today launched its 4G service at the industrial town of Durgapur in West Bengal, taking the coverage to 12 towns in the state.
"Durgapur customers can now enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images," a statement issued by Airtel said.
"We are delighted to launch our 4G services in Durgapur using the latest carrier aggregation technology," Bharti Airtel CEO - West Bengal and Odisha, Vir Inder Nath said.

Airtel 4G was rolled out in Durgapur using dual spectrum bands of 2300 Mhz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE), the telecom company said.
