Telecom major Bharti Airtel has launched its high-speed 4G services in Tirupur distric of Tamil Nadu.
"Now, customers across the country can experience high speed wireless broadband on Airtel 4G and get on to the digital super-highway to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, super-fast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images," the company said in a statement.
Airtel 4G is available to customers across a range of smart devices, including mobile phones, dongles, 4G hot-spots and Wi-Fi dongles, it added.
"We are committed to building a world class 4G network in the region," George Mathen, HUB CEO-Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel, said in the statement.
The company has already launched 4G services in Chennai, Puducherry, Vellore, Tiruchirapalli, Madurai and Coimbatore, it added.
