AISATS get TAPA certification for its Bengaluru operations

AISATS has become the first Indian airport service provider to be certified with the highest security requirement of Transported Asset Protection Association's (TAPA), a statement from the company said.

TAPA is a global forum that unites global manufacturers, logistics providers, freight carriers, law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders with the aim of reducing losses within international supply chains.

TAPA currently has over 600 member companies across Europe, Middle East, Africa, America and Asia.

"Receiving the TAPA certification for our Bengaluru cargo terminal, affirms our strict adherence to the highest international standards. TAPA certification process requires the company to pass a detailed independent audit of our physical premises, to ensure strict compliance with numerous Freight Security Requirements. We are proud to have successfully implemented these parameters in our processes," said Willy Ko, CEO, AISATS.
