Director Sanjay Gupta praised Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's dedication as a parent and said he was amazed to see how the actress effortlessly juggles her work and motherhood.

Gupta has directed the 41-year-old actress in her comeback venture "Jazbaa", which will see Aishwarya play the role of an advocate, Anuradha Verma.

"She is a remarkable hands-on mother, father, doctor, nanny, and nurse all rolled into one!" Gupta said in a statement.

Recalling an incident while shooting the action thriller, the director revealed how Aishwarya continued to shoot despite her daughter Aardhya being unwell.

"Once Aaradhaya was unwell but Ash insisted we carry on. We were shooting all night and then her staff came running and said 'She has just vomited!' When I enquired who had vomited, the staff said it is Aaradhaya. Aaradhaya had been in the van on location all through the shoot.. Ash didn't want to disrupt the movie schedule.

"So, she brought her along instead of cancelling the shoot," Gupta said.

Produced by Zee Studios, Viiking Media and Entertainment and White Feather Films, "Jazbaa", which also stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff, will release on October 9.
