All India Sikh Students' Federation (AISSF) today wrote to the Prime Minister, Union Environment Minister and Punjab Chief Minister urging them to take immediate steps to eradicate the menace of stray dogs and animals causing problems to people.
At its state executive meeting here today, AISSF urged them to enact a law or take concrete steps to check the menace.
The menace should be eradicated soon, AISSF President Karnail Singh said after the meeting.

"The menace of stray dogs and animals has failed to get the attention of the government so for," he added.
He appealed to the Centre and Punjab government to take immediate steps to deal with the problem.
