The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has yet again accepted the request from Pakistan to host two junior ITF tournaments allotted to them because of the "prevailing unrest" in the neighbouring country.
"We have been hosting the two tournaments since last year on a request from Pakistan as the players and officials find it unsafe to travel there because of the prevailing unrest," AITA management committee member Hironmoy Chatterjee said.
The tournaments would be held in New Delhi in July or August as it would give budding tennis talent from Pakistan an opportunity to feature in the tournaments, he added.
"They have requested us to do that. Depriving the tennis-loving youngsters in Pakistan is not good. They can come here and play in the two tournaments," he added.
