The 41st national conference of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), the trade union wing of CPI, will begin here from February 25.
About 2,500 delegates from across the country will attend the four day conference, which will deliberate on various issues confronting workers and also trade unionism, AITUC sources said.
The proposed amendments to be brought in the existing labour law by the Centre will be discussed threadbare during the conference, they said.
The conference was earlier scheduled to be held here from December 15 last year. However, it was postponed due to heavy rains and floods in many districts of Tamil Nadu.
