Ajay Devgn to present Marathi period drama film

Actor-producer Ajay Devgn will present a Marathi period drama 'Vitti Dandu' which will mark his foray into regional cinema.

Marathi cinema has creatively and successfully evolved over the years, and this is the first time that Ajay's production house will be presenting a period drama film titled 'Vitti Dandu', a statement issued here said.

The trailer of 'Vitti Dandu' will be attached with Ajay's upcoming film Singham Returns, it said.

'Vitti Dandu' revolves around the triumph of love for the country over attachments for a loved one. The story is about the relationship between a man and his grandson.

It stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Ravindra Mankani, Yatin Karyekar, child artists Radhika Deore, Nishant Bhavsar, Shubhankar Aatre and others.
 

The film, slated to release by this year end, is directed by Ganesh Kadam and produced by Leena Deore.
