Leading infrastructure finance company IDFC today said it has appointed Ajay Mahajan as the Head Commercial and Wholesale Banking, in the bank structure to be launched later this year.
"In this role, Mahajan will oversee coverage of SME, mid-cap and large corporates, financial institutions, government business and transaction banking, treasury and markets and investment banking," IDFC said in a statement.
Mahajan has been already heading the Financial Markets Group at IDFC.
He has over 23 years of experience in the banking industry and has worked with Bank of America, Yes Bank and UBS.
