Ajsu Party prefers poll to join any new regime in Jharkhand

"We will prefer elections to joining any new dispensation. The party has already decided to contest all the 81 seats," Ajsu Party vice-president Praveen Prabhakar said.

"However, We would like this government to continue till the end of its term," he told PTI.

Munda yesterday rejected major ally JMM's claim that there was a purported power sharing deal between the BJP and the JMM. He asked the JMM to discuss on his reply keeping in mind the coalition's effort to provide a stable government for the past two years.

JMM leader and Deputy Chief Minister Hemant Soren had on Christmas day given Munda a list of certain issues, including Munda's stand on the purported deal.

 

The JMM will discuss on Munda's reply during its twin meetings on January 6 and 10 to take a final call on the fate of the ruling coalition.
