"The dues of cane farmers for the year 2011-12 should be cleared immediately as per the SC order in this regard," Yadav said during a meeting called here to discuss the problems of cane farmers.
Yadav said a new policy should be formed for setting up sugar mills and co-generation plants and asked officials to send a delegation of 25 progressive farmers to Australia, Fizi and Mauritius for studying modern techniques in cane production.
