Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today directed the concerned officials to implement the Samajwadi Avas Yojna promptly to ensure that quality houses are provided to the beneficiaries on time.
"The Samajwadi Avas Yojna should be implemented promptly and properly.. Good quality houses should be provided to the beneficiaries timely and at reasonable rates," the chief minister said at a meeting held here to review the working of Avas Vikas Parishad and development authorities.
Akhilesh also issued directions for providing community facilities at reasonable rates for the people of middle and lower income groups.
The chief minister also issued instructions for checking illegal constructions, saying that there would be no compromise on the quality and time-frame for the construction works carried out by Avas Vikas Parishad and development authorities.
