Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today met Governor Ram Naik and discussed nomination of members in the Legislative Council and pending bills.
"The CM had a detailed discussion with the Governor regarding nomination of members in the Council and pending bills," a Raj Bhawan spokesman said here.
The Governor informed the CM about memorandum given by the wife of sub-inspector Manoj Mishra, who was shot dead by cattle smugglers in Lakhimpur on September 9.

He also informed CM about electorates boycotting panchayat polls in Hardaspur village to protest against the incident.
The CM assured to provide instant relief to the family of the deceased policeman.
He also assured about organising UP Student Parliament in Lucknow.
