Speaking at a programme organised by anti-reservation government employees here, Yadav said the Rajasthan Chief Minister should scrap the reservation in promotion in government jobs.
"Reservation in service promotion is a sheer injustice and deception with government employees and should end, I took this bold step within no time and Rajasthan Chief Minister should also do this," he said.
Yadav, whose Samajwadi Party is against reservation in promotion bill, promised support for Rajasthan government employees on the issue and also sought their political support.
With an eye on the polls in the state this year, the 39-year-old leader asked the people in the rally, organised Samta Andolan Samiti (SAS), to vote for the SP.
"My step to end reservation in promotion in UP is absolutely correct otherwise people would have thrown us out. We are with you (anti-reservation Rajasthan state employees) and you also take care of 'Cycle' (SP's symbol)," he said.
Yadav stressed that corruption flourishes under the system of reservation in promotions, hence the step to end it should be taken.

"We will not let the bill pass in Parliament on any condition," he said while targeting both Congress and BJP.
"Policies of Congress never pushed the country on the path of growth and development and BJP is also no different," the chief minister said.
"This is an election year, no one knows the date of elections...It can happen anytime and you all take care of 'Cycle' here," he said.
