"The CM has directed suspension of Basti's director of social forestry J K Singh and initiate disciplinary proceedings on the basis of inquiry report on complaint against him," an official spokesman said here.
During inquiry it was found that Singh did not act as per provisions of various government orders and used to remain absent without giving any reason, he said.
Singh's involvement was also found in encroachments, he said.
