Akhilesh seeks votes for 2014 polls on development plank

Yadav, who was in Chunniganj area in the city to inaugurate a government inter-college for girls, said that several development schemes have been launched by the government unlike the previous regime for the welfare of the people.

He said that several mills and factories, closed during the previous regime, would be reopened and assured of every possible help to the industrialists, eager to set up factories in the state.

Rejecting claims of poor law and order situation by the opposition, the chief minister said that the officials were directed to prevent gender based offences and ensure full security to the girls and women in the state.

 

Highlighting several welfare schemes of the present regime, including waiver of loans to weavers and allowance to unemployed youths, Yadav said that people should support Samajwadi party in the upcoming general elections for sustaining the developmental works initiated by it.
