Akola in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today recorded highest temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius, the Regional Meteorology Centre here said.
Wardha recorded a maximum of 44 degrees Celsius.
Nagpur recorded a temperature of 43.6 degrees Celsius, slightly higher than yesterday's 42.9 degrees Celsius.
Following are the maximum temperatures recorded in other major towns of Vidarbha today in degrees Celsius: Amravati 41.8, Chandrapur 42.6, Bramhapuri 43.7, Gondia 42.3, Washim 40.8 and Yavatmal 43.
