The ICC today confirmed that the bowling action of Bangladesh fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain has been found to be legal following an independent test, and pacer can continue to bowl in international cricket.

During a comprehensive analysis it was revealed that the amount of elbow extension in Al-Amin's bowling action for all deliveries was within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations.

The analysis was performed at the Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai on October 20 after the match officials had expressed concerns over his bowling action following the first Test against the West Indies in St Vincent in September.

The match officials' report, which was handed over to Bangladesh team manager Habibul Bashar after the Test against the West Indies that his side lost by 10 wickets, cited concerns about the legality of the 24-year-old's bowling action.
