A nanny, who worked for Alanis Morissette has sued the singer and her husband Mario 'Souleye' Treadway after they allegedly did not pay overtime wage.

Bianca Cambeiro, who claims she was forced to work on 12-hour shift without a break, has sued Morissette for USD 30,000 in unpaid wages and USD 100,000 in damages, reported TMZ online.

Cambeiro also claims she was ordered to stay in the baby's room during her shift even if the baby boy was sleeping. Cambeiro, who worked 3 or 4 times a week, says that she was not allowed to take a break to eat.

She was allowed to leave the room when one of the baby's parents was in the room or the day-shift nanny replaced her.

According to document filed in Los Angeles, Cambeiro also says that she suffered emotional distress.

Morissette and her rapper husband tied the knot in May 2010 after dating for a year. The 'Ironic' singer gave birth to a baby boy the same year.
