Actress Jessica Alba has taken a dig at Gwyneth Paltrow saying her book is better than the "Iron Man" star, as she grew up in a poor family.

Alba said her new book 'The Honest Life' is more grounded than Paltrow's because she "didn't grow up with a bunch of money", reported Daily Mirror.

The "Fantastic Four" actress pointed out that her lifestyle tips will be more relatable to everyday mother.

"Alicia Silverstone is a vegan, so she's the extreme side of it. Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn't grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: repurposing things and making things at home," Alba said.

The 31-year-old grew up in a working-class, military family in suburban California while Paltrow had a privileged, showbizzy upbringing in LA with her director father and actress mother.
