Alec Baldwin and daughter Kim Basinger's daughter Ireland said she is not leaning on her parents' expertise as she auditions for roles.
The 19-year-old said she does not need their advice, said the Hollywood Reporter.
"No way. That's like having your parents coach your soccer team -- you'll never win! I'm going on auditions and waiting for the next thing," she said.
Ireland made her acting debut as the younger version of Basinger's character Sally in 2013's 'Grudge Match'.
