Director Alfonso Cuaron's nail-biting outer space disaster movie 'Gravity' is getting a silent space version.

There is no sound in space and Cuaron honoured the scientific element by keeping all the sound effects inside the spaceship and helmets, reported Entertainment Weekly.

But instead of no-sound, he used the music store by Steven Price, which won an Oscar.

Cuaron, however, is bring a special edition Blu-Ray version of 'Gravity' where fans can experience "the film without music for a surprising cinematic experiment".

The new version will remove Price's score while retaining only the voices of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney's characters.
