Kunal Kapoor is playing one of the male leads opposite Alia Bhatt in upcoming film "Dear Zindagi" and the actor is impressed with his co-star for making risky choices very early in her career.
The 38-year-old actor said Alia, 23, has given great performance in each of the roles she has picked till now.
"Alia is fantastic. She has made some risky choices. She has taken up films which people may have told her not to do at this point of time. But she has done it and pulled it off.

Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a pivotal role.
Kunal, who worked with the the superstar in "Don 2," will not be sharing the screen space with him.
"Unfortunately, I don't have any scenes with Shah Rukh. I enjoyed working with him in 'Don 2,' he is a great person to work with and really giving as an actor."
The movie marks Gauri's second directorial venture after her impressive debut with "English Vinglish".
Kunal said working with the director was a joy.
"Gauri is a fabulous director and since I saw 'English Vinglish,' I wanted to work with her. I am really glad I got a chance to work with her on her second film."
"Dear Zindagi" also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi, but not much is known about the plot of the movie.
SRK reportedly will help Alia's character in navigating her love life in the film.
