India is making all efforts to secure the release of 11 Indian nationals, who were detained in Kuwait after loud noise while they were doing puja attracted the attention of neighbours, who in turn called police.
"We are making every possible effort to secure the release of 11 Indian nationals detained in Kuwait," External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted.
According to reports, the Indians were detained nearly a fortnight ago after the neighbours in the area called the police and complained about the loud noise.
Most of them are from the coastal region and are members of the Navachethana Welfare Association, Kuwait.
